Department of Energy selects Argonne to lead national quantum center; ColdQuanta named as an industry partner

The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has announced the creation of five new Quantum Information Science Research Centers led by DOE National Laboratories across the country. One of the national centers, Q-NEXT, is led by DOE’s Argonne National Laboratory (ANL), and includes ColdQuanta an an industry partner. The goal of this Center is to develop the science and technology to control and distribute quantum information.

Also today, ColdQuanta was named as one of three industry partners with Oak Ridge National Laboratory, who was also chosen to create a Quantum Science Center.
